Marina Bitu
Marina Bitu was born in Ceará in 2017, created by the designer who gives the brand its name, now leading it with partner Cecília Baima. The fluid pleating, a reference to the accordions so present in Ceará's culture, is the most recognizable trait of its collections, alongside crochet and natural materials such as linen, silk and cotton thread embroidery.
At Eme Mater, the brand appears in dresses, a skirt, a blouse, a shirt, pants, a kimono and a kaftan, highlighting pieces in plaid pleating. It is part of the women's curation for its care with handwork and its celebration of Northeastern Brazilian culture.
