Lenny Niemeyer
Designer Lenny Niemeyer started in 1979 creating bikinis for other labels and, in 1991, launched her own brand with its first store in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. Beyond bikinis and swimsuits, the brand makes post-beach clothing, bags and footwear, with accessories in leather, rope and metal inspired by saddlery, the nautical world and architecture. In 2018, Lenny became the first Brazilian to receive the Designer of the Year award at Mode City in Paris.
Eme Mater brings together mainly the clothing that leaves the sand: shirts, blouses, pants, dresses, cover-ups and sarongs, alongside bags and beachwear. It is part of the curation for its Rio reading of beachwear, built over more than three decades.
