Gilberto Gomes

Gilberto Gomes is an architect and ceramist based in Governador Celso Ramos, Santa Catarina. He learned ceramics at the Escola de Oleiros in São José before studying architecture, and hand modeling is at the center of his work.

At Eme Mater you will find the Ferro figa, in terracotta-toned ceramic, and the Coral candlestick, hand-modeled in clay and fired at high temperature, which gives each piece its own nuance.
